The assault caused the temporary closure of the CTA tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

An additional two individuals have been arrested related to a robbery at London's Heathrow Airport in which 21 people were injured by what is thought to be pepper spray, as stated by police.

A man, 24, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was detained for suspected conspiring to commit a robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

These detentions follow a probe into an assault at the multi-storey car park at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the attack, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their luggage after getting out of a parking garage elevator.

A three-year-old girl was one of the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and were later released.

Police detained a man in his thirties for suspected robbery and assault near the location. He was subsequently released under investigation while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 08:10 GMT after reports came in regarding a number of people injured by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - an event that police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 car park briefly.
